My son Parker turned 5 in October, and we celebrated by throwing a LEGO party for him & his friends! Here are a few of the details:
Activity: I hired a company called Bricks 4 Kidz, based here in North Vancouver. They specialize in lego parties....how perfect (I found them on google). The kids got to build lego "french fry makers" in partners, as well as build a lego mini figure that they took turns placing on a zip line! They got to take the mini figures home. The leader was fantastic with the kids and managed to keep their attention for 90 minutes!
Decor: I bought the 3 lego man prints from Clare's Printables on Etsy, and then had them printed at Staples (so simple & inexpensive!). The big round balloons are from Party City. I bought the yellow paper bags at Michaels and used a black sharpie to draw the lego faces on them. I made some lego piece sugar cookies, bought some yellow & blue candy, and the big yellow lego head is my son's!
